I’m (Tamara / The No) supporting this great band, The Soft Moon, from San Fransisco, who sound very vintage 80’s, distorted shoegaze, reverb chords, post-punk-wave just how we like it. I’m sure they have a record collection at home with a selection of Joy Division, Tri Somie 21, Suicide and A Place To Bury Strangers. Their beautiful videos are always very style fully designed. Melkweg, Lijnbaansgracht 234, doors open: 19:00 / concert 19:30. 15 euro + membership. It was really a great night and I received many nice compliments about my music choice, the guys from the band liked it too, and one of their biggest fans, the baron of techno, Dave Clarke, he said he shazamed me but didn’t work. He wanted to know a particular song I put on. Music is such a great way to communicate, I love that. Here a photo report by Gonzo Circus.
